You
Were Bound
To Set Me Free

|
Christ's
death brought life. To live we must die. To receive, we must give.
The Bible's counter wisdom to the worlds conventional wisdom is
reflected in this concept of Christ being bound by chains to set
us free from the penalties of sin.
Yet there is also a 2nd meaning to this title.
Before time began, Christ looked down and saw that sin would one
day rule all of our hearts. And we would be powerless to reach
back up to God for forgiveness. Redemption had to come from God
in order to get back to God. Christ was so in love with us, that
even before the first stars were scattered across the galaxy, knowing
it would require His brutal death, Christ made up His mind to come
down here to earth and rescue us! He was bound and
determined to
restore our fellowship with Him and the Father!
He was 'bound to set us free'! Now that's awesome
love!

Here
I Am LORD
Loving You
 |
Learning
of the death of a well known pastor's wife (they were married for
just a few years) really brought tears and weeping to Tim's heart.
Just in her 20's, this precious young lady lost the fight
against disease in her body, and took her flight to the arms of
Jesus.
While worshipping in his place of praise, meditating
on the loss, Tim was overwhelmed with the thoughts of losing a
wife or a child. Unbelievable grief would of course beset anyone
who suffered such. Only God could maintain a persons life at that
point.
Yet as Job could testify to us today, we must
remain steadfast in our devotion and love of God, despite our material
plight in this life. Whether we live in abundance or live in poverty,
we must never lose our passion to serve and seek Him.
In just a few minutes, Tim wrote this extremely
tender song reflecting his desire that whether his table was full,
or whether his table was bare, he will be found in his place of
praise, at his piano, loving Him! Here's an excerpt of the words:
"If I gain the world tomorrow, and my table's
full, I'll be here loving You.
If I lose it all to sorrow, and my table's bare, I'll be here loving
You.
For You are more than Life to me.
You are more than breath to me.
So, here I am LORD, here I am LORD, here I am LORD loving You."

Won't
You Come
 |
"Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest."
Those are some of the most precious words in all
of Scripture coming from a heart of compassion and tender mercies!
If you know someone who's away from God, walking the path of the
Prodigal, this ballad expresses the heart of the Father inviting
them to come back home, He loves them. He misses
them and waits with open arms, back to the place of rest
and restoration. To return to the place where Mercy
reigns. To the place where all find grace!
Solo piano and voice reflect the simplest of
musical combinations. A rich raw vocal expresses the earnestness
and passion of this call of God to those that are lost and lonely.
You will be moved to pray for those in such places
as you hear this song! Would make a wonderful gift to those who
perhaps are in that place in their lives.
